Hello, everyone! This year on my birthday I bought myself ‘wasanbon’ cookies when we went to a cake shop Nishiuchi Kagetaudo to buy shortcakes because my sons wanted them. ‘Wasanbon’ is a kind of high-grade sugar produced in Kagawa Prefecture and it is used for various kinds of confectioneries here. I can hardly express the delicate feeling I had when I ate one of them. It melted I’m my mouth smoothly. It’s just exquisite.
There are some shops where Wasanbon sweets are sold in Kagawa Prefecture. There are some I want to try. Though I don’t want to gain weight any more, I love sweets. Every day I must struggle with my dilemma.
皆さんこんにちは。今年も私の誕生日に息子たちがケーキを欲しがったので、ショートケーキを買いのに西内花月堂さんというケーキ屋さんに行った時、和三盆クッキーも一緒に買いました。和三盆は香川県で伝統的に作られている高級な砂糖です。色々なお菓子の材料として使われています。その繊細な食感は言葉で表現するのがとても難しいです。口の中でほろりと溶けてしまいました。とても贅沢な気分でした。
香川県には、和三盆を使った菓子類を販売しているお店が他にもあります。私も食べてみたいお菓子があります。これ以上太りたくないのですが、甘いものが大好きなので、ジレンマが悩ましい日々でございます。
